Frequency Converters

Applied Radar has developed a line of frequency converters that we sell through our Quonset Microwave brand name. Please see the following products:

QM1004 – A 2-18 GHz tunable frequency converter with 500 MHz instantaneous bandwidth;
QM1007 – Vector Signal Transceiver (VST) Extender covering various discrete frequency bands (e.g. X-band, Ku-band, Ka-band, etc.) with 1 GHz instantaneous bandwidth. Designed to interface and extend the RF operating range of National Instruments PXIe-5840 VST.

Applied Radar developed a very unusual and large scale switch matrix for us for the purposes of volume testing, this unit has been in continuous use for the past 4 years. Like the Agilent/Keysight gear plugged into it, it never fails, it is never shut down, and was delivered ahead of schedule, and worked to spec. Applied Radar can do more than radar, they can make just about any custom RF test solution you can think of and do so in a very short period of time.
